
Team Century Takes Home Fishing Honors

Team Century recently took home top
honors at the
Southern Kingfish Association’s (SKA’s) Fort
Myers Beach Kingfish Shootout and the
Coastal Conservation Association (CCA)
Louisiana’s Redfish Challenge.
Ozzie Fischer, Ozzie Lessinger, Christian Fischer, Paul Michele and DJ Wood made up Team
Century at the SKA competition. Partnering with local dealer Wolcott Marine in a 3200 Century with
twin Yamaha F350s, the team took home a $20,000 first-place prize at the SKA competition. Team
Century broke the SKA record for the highest two-day aggregate weight for two fish, bringing in a
56.14-lb. fish on the first day, and a 56.27-lb. fish on the second.
Keith Bird, partnering with Jimmy Fisackerly Jr. from local dealer Boat Stuf, won the CCA
event in a a 2400 Century Inshore. The team was awarded a cash prize of $11,700 for their winning
catches of two redfish weighing a combined 14.2 lbs.
